Finally a printable iPod skin! Currently in development, this product is due to be released in a couple of weeks. I’ve been wanting to customize my iPod for quite a while, but as a graphic designer, I’m too picky to choose from pre-designed skins. Plus the idea of paying 20 bucks for a single skin makes my wallet ache. From what I’ve heard, this product from iaPeel will retail for around the same amount, but you get 4 printable skins and design software. The manufacturer was kind enough to send me a few samples to test, and I’m totally hooked. They worked in my inkjet printer just like a regular sheet of photo paper and were amazingly simple to apply. Best of all, as a proud parent (bordering on obnoxious), I can plaster pictures of my kids all over my iPod.
